Evelyn Martinez is a Jersey City native who joined Labrada Dumé & Associates in July 2003. Ms. Martinez is a senior paralegal with about 37 years of experience. She graduated with honors from the School of Executive Secretaries in Newark, New Jersey.

Ms. Martinez began her career as a paralegal working side by side with current Hudson County judge, Hector R. Velazquez, where she prepared negligence cases and successfully assisted in winning several civil suits. She has worked for numerous law firms gaining experience in matrimonial law, worker's compensation law, and real estate and collections. Ms. Martinez's currently works primarily on divorce cases and child custody matters. She also assists in the preparation of motions to reopen and appeals in immigration law cases. Ms. Martinez is fluent in English and Spanish
